This 40 Volt battery charger is made to be used with the Hoover 6 amp (discontinued), and batteries that are used on the current Hoover HVRPWR and the now discontinued vacuum. It can also be used to charge the old version batteries found on the MPWR vacuums.

This charger has a quick recharging rate at about 60 minutes for 6AH batteries, 80 minutes for 8AH and 120 minutes for 12AH batteries so you can get back to cleaning faster. The charger has a bunch of safety options that protect your battery investment. These features include hi/low temperature monitoring that helps prevent overheating, auto charging and discharging termination, sleep mode to help regulate temperature, charging control when the optimal temperature is reached, surge protection preventing damage to the battery cells, and a maximum charge time regulator to protect the battery.
